The Decision Investments sustainability portfolio is designed to do our part to keep our planet green for the generations to come. Accordingly, our Sustainability Portfolio will allocate 10% of your holdings to companies in the alternate or “Clean Energy” space.
Furthermore all of companies in the portfolio will be screened for earning good grades when it comes to their green efforts and initiative toward leaving the smallest possible carbon footprint.
Decision Investments will also purchase Carbon Offsets with 10% of the fees from the Sustainability portfolio.
Carbon offsets are investments in projects that reduce or avoid carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions that contribute to climate change. After making direct reductions in your carbon footprint by conserving energy and limiting travel, carbon offsets are the best way to shrink your carbon footprint.
For many people, the Carbon Offsets we purchase for them will more than offset their entire family’s carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from their automobiles, air travel, heating and electric for an entire year. To calculate your CO2 emissions, click here.
